I started searching for a way to watch the Golden Globe Awards online because I have a computer at my office. I was pretty disappointed in what I found, at first. There are so many "bogus" sites out there that claim to have a live stream of the show. All of them, that I found, are very poor quality, even with my high-speed internet connection. I missed about half of the episode just due to video buffering issues.
Then, I found a site that wanted me to fill out some survey to get access. To make a long story short, I ended up with some computer virus from that site that took me over a month to get all the spyware and adware off my computer.

It downloaded easily and quickly to my computer, and I was watching Idol on my computer within 5 minutes. I think the best part of it is that there are no recurring fees with it, like cable. I'm actually thinking about canceling my cable to save some money each month.
